It was during that time I was able to take my casual appreciation of bourbon and turned it into a professional education by becoming an Executive Bourbon Steward. Since then I have met several of the industry's leading master distillers, hosted numerous private tastings, and developed some of my own unique bourbon experiences.
Aften Locken
Aften Locken is an Executive Bourbon Steward and Master Mixologist and founder of Bourbon Pro, with six years of experience in the industry. She specializes in sensory training, to help others master their palates for bourbon, always emphasizing that everyone has stellar abilities to nose and taste like a pro!
She has led over 500 bourbon tastings, designs and executes unique bourbon experiences, including VIP activations for Millionaire’s Row at the Kentucky Derby and premium education for the Kentucky Bourbon Festival, and leads custom tours.
